Hana Sromova
General Manager

Hana, originally from Koprivnice, Czech Republic, was a top-ranked junior tennis player in her home country. In 1997, she turned pro and went on to earn 8 ITF singles titles and 35 ITF doubles titles over a decade playing on the WTA and ITF tours, achieving career-best WTA rankings of #87 in singles and #63 in doubles in 2006. That same year, Hana reached the second round of both the French and Australian Opens, and in 2007 she advanced to the second round at Wimbledon. Hana also competed in the U.S. Open in 2006 and 2008 and was a member of the NY Sportimes World TeamTennis franchise in 2007 and 2008. She joined the SPORTIME team in 2008.

Gabi Jasmim
Assistant General Manager

Gabi is originally from Brazil. She holds a bachelor’s degree in production engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense, a master’s degree in business management from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and an MBA from IBMEC. Gabi began her career as a project coordinator for L’Oréal, before working as a corporate strategic planning coordinator for Nissan. Gabi then was a senior manager of strategic planning at Conviver Urbanismo for two years. She joined the SPORTIME team in 2024.

Guilherme DeMedeiros
Guilherme DeMedeiros
Site Co-Director, JMTA Summer Tennis Training, Amagansett

Originally from Brazil, Guilherme De Medeiros was a top-ranked junior tennis player, achieving a top-20 ranking in singles and a top-10 ranking in doubles. He began his collegiate career at Lewis-Clark State College (NAIA) before transferring to Hawaii Pacific University. He helped The Sharks reach the NCAA national semifinals, secure third place at the ITA Team National Indoors, and achieve a top-3 NCAA national ranking. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, and was recognized as an ITA Scholar-Athlete every year. Guilherme earned his MBA while competing for Long Island University, an NCAA Division I program in New York. During this time, he also worked at Sportime Syosset. Since the summer of 2021, he has been with Sportime Amagansett. Currently, Guilherme is the Head Coach for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, a top NCAA Division II program.

Mark Crandall

Mark, born and raised in Amagansett, attended the University of Vermont, beginning in 1986, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 1990. While at UVM, Mark was a member of the Sailing Club and also participated in a study abroad program with the SIT School of International Training in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to co-founding East Hamptons Sports Camp, Mark founded Hoops 4 Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to youth development in Southern Africa. Mark joined the SPORTIME team in 2011.

Eric, born and raised in New York City, Cornell University, beginning in 1986, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in government in 1990. Eric went on to earn a JD from Fordham Law School in 1996. After working as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County, Eric pursued a career in education. He taught at Manhattan Country School, Ethical Culture Fieldston, The Dalton School, and Bank Street College of Education. He also co-founded East Hampton Sports Camp. Eric joined the SPORTIME team in 2011.

Danielle Marshall

Dani, born and raised in East Hampton, earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Siena College and a master’s degree in education from Hunter College. Dani’s exceptional teaching career has included positions at The Epiphany Community Nursery School and The Garden House School, prior to her current role as kindergarten teacher at St. Ignatius Loyola in New York City, Dani has also been a swim instructor, ESL teacher and a camp counselor. She joined the SPORTIME team in 2013.

Multi-Sport Director / SPORTIME Amagansett Arena

Tyler grew up in East Hampton, playing ice and roller hockey since childhood in PIHA and AIHL D1 leagues across Long Island. Playing D1 at Mt. Siani, Tyler was ranked 5th in the country for 16-18 year olds. Tyler has been coaching at SPORTIME for 12 years, focusing on hockey, but also coaching basketball, soccer, volleyball and, recently, pickleball.

Julieta Lecce

Julieta, originally from Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina, played competitive tennis as a junior, achieving a national ranking in the top-15 in her home country. Beginning in 2017, she attended Middle Georgia State University, before transferring to Chowan University, where she captained the women’s tennis team. Julieta graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from CU in 2021, and joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team later that same year, 2021.

Director of Tennis

Gui, originally from Brazil, played competitive tennis as a junior, achieving rankings in the top-10 in the state of Rio de Janeiro and #1 in the city of Niteroi. Beginning in 2005, he attended the University of West Florida, where he played on the men’s tennis team, ranked #1 nationally in NCAA Division II. Gui earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from UWF in 2008, and a master’s degree in sports administration from UWF in 2011. Gui has 20 years of tennis coaching experience, including at the collegiate level at his alma mater, and at Clemson University, Middle Tennessee State University, and, most recently, at Armstrong State University, where he led the women’s tennis team to an NCAA title. Gui joined the SPORTIME team in 2020.

Stanislas Bedrune

Stanislas (Stan) Bedrune was a competitive junior in his home country before moving to the US to play for Queens College. A talent on and off the court, Stan helped The Knights win three ECC Conference Championships while earning academic honors from Queens College and from the NCAA. He also served as an assistant tennis professional at his alma mater while earning his degree. During summer breaks, Stan worked at clubs across the Northeast, before joining the SPORTIME Amagansett seasonal team in 2018 as a teaching pro. Upon graduation, Stan was the Assistant Tennis Director for Richmond Country Club in Staten Island, while completing his Master’s in Sports Management. Stan re-joined the SPORTIME family in 2021 and was promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2024 season and joined the RI team fall 2024.

Nelson Escobar
Nelson Escobar

Nelson, originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, played competitive tennis as a junior, achieving a national ranking in the top-20 in his home country. Beginning in 2004, he attended Union College, where he won two conference championships and was named Most Improved Player of the Year. Nelson earned a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and management from UC in 2007. He has over 12 years of teaching and coaching experience, and joined the SPORTIME team in 2012.
