Tim Van Epps
General Manager Tim, originally from Rotterdam, NY, earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Springfield College, followed by a master’s degree in health education from Sage College. Tim joined the SPORTIME Kings Park team in 2011 as a tennis coach, before becoming a member of the club’s management team. He was promoted to his current position in 2018. |

Ivan Mardones
Director of Tennis Ivan, originally from Merida, Venezuela, played competitive tennis as a junior. Beginning in 2003, he attended Union College, where he played on the men’s tennis team for all four years, leading the team to the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championships in 2007. The team also won the NAIA Region XII Championship, and qualified for the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Tournament that same year. Ivan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UC in 2007 and a master’s degree in education from UC in 2008. Ivan has over a decade of experience coaching players of all ages and levels, and joined the SPORTIME team in 2017. |

James Christy
Director of Fitness James, originally from Long Island, NY, studied liberal arts at Suffolk Community College. He has been a personal trainer for over 20 years, working with athletes of all ages and athletic abilities in combat sports, football, lacrosse, tennis, baseball and more. James also managed a vitamin and supplement store. He joined the SPORTIME team in 2005. |

Deborah Santora
Group Exercise Director Deborah, originally from Long Island, NY, has over 40 years of experience in the fitness industry. Beginning in the 1980s, she launched her career in group fitness, providing classes in locations across the United States, including in New York City and Honolulu. Deborah also spent 10 years competing in aerobics, and was a National Aerobic Champion. She holds multiple certifications from the American Council on Exercise, as well as certifications in Mind Body, Cardio Interval and HIIT-based workouts. Deborah joined the SPORTIME team in 2004. |

McKenzie Hoshyla
Pre-School Director/Junior Program Coordinator McKenzie, originally from Long Island, NY, earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and teaching from St. Joseph’s University. She joined the SPORTIME team in 2014 as a summer camp counselor and media assistant. From 2015 to 2020, she was a preschool teacher at The Children’s School. In 2021, she was promoted to her current role at SPORTIME. |

Summer Camp Director George, originally from East Northport, NY earned a bachelor’s degree in general and special education from SUNY Plattsburgh, and has been a teacher at East Quogue Elementary School for 33 years. George joined the SPORTIME team in 1996. |

Ellen Griffin
Multi-Sport Camp Director / Aquatics Director Ellen, originally from Long Island, NY, earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Providence College, and went on to earn a master's degree in school counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. During graduate school, Ellen interned at the High School of Math, Science, and Engineering, supporting students through the college application process, developing counseling programs and facilitating equity-focused advisory curriculums. She has been a school counselor at Westhampton Beach Middle School since 2021, and joined the SPORTIME team in 2016 as a lifeguard and swim instructor. She was promoted to her current position in 2020. |

Claudia Purkis
Co-Camp Director Claudia, originally from Westhampton, NY, earned a bachelor's degree in education from SUNY Oneonta, and a master's degree in English from Touro College. She is a teacher during the school year, in the East Moriches School District, and has taught students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Claudia was a SPORTIME Quogue summer camper from the ages of 3 through 16, and returned to join the SPORTIME team in 2010. |

Jeremy Carcamo
Tennis Coach Jeremy, originally from Hampton Bays, NY, played competitive tennis as a junior. He was a member of the Hampton Bays High School boys' tennis team, and received the Leaders of the Game Award from the Hampton Bays School District in 2020. He has been attending Stony Brook University since 2021 and is on track to graduate in 2025. Jeremy joined the SPORTIME team in 2020. |

Tatiana Dualiby
Tennis Coach Tatiana, originally from São Paulo, Brazil, played competitive tennis as a junior, achieving career-high rankings of #2 in the State of São Paulo, and #41 in Brazil. Beginning in 2010, she attended Mars Hill University, where she captained the women's tennis team and was named to the All-South Atlantic Conference team for four straight years. She compiled a 16-2 singles record as a senior, before graduating from MHU with a bachelor's degree in business in 2014. Tatiana joined the SPORTIME team later that year. |

Tommy Misiolek
Tennis Coach Tommy, originally from Poland, began playing tennis at the age of four, and went on to achieve top-25 rankings in the B16 and B18 divisions of the USTA Middle States Section. Beginning in 2008, Tommy attended Temple University, before transferring to Lehigh University in 2009, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and marketing in 2012. After graduation, he worked as a project manager in the diamond industry for 10 years. Tommy joined the SPORTIME team in 2024. |
